I am a Political Science doctoral student at Florida State University. Before joining FSU, I was Assistant Professor at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Argentina (UCA), and Latin America Project Lead for the Think Tank and Civil Society Program (TTCSP) at the University of Pennsylvania.
My research lies at the intersection of political economy and national security with a focus on international conflict. I investigate why and how international economic constraints shape politics and policies in developing countries, especially with regard to national defense. Methodologically, I am interested in quantitative methods for the study of complex and dynamic interdependencies in political economy and comparative qualitative methods for policy outcomes.
